Howdy all,

I have a week vacation now and am looking for some winter birding. Does anyone know good places for any birds (ducks, owls) near Philadelphia? Even as far as New Jersey, New York, Maryland, etc is fine.

Thank you very much.

If you like eagles, try the Conowingo Dam in northern
Maryland.

I've had good luck at Blackwater NWR in MD but I've never been during the winter.

Plenty of eagles out at Blackwater NWR these days. My Dad just saw a nice group last weekend. Weather was the only issue.
