Photograph Rights

hello. i did a paid shoot for a BMW. with payment, i shoot the car and i give him all the hi res processed images. no other agreement was made.

now, i've been contacted by the maker of his wheels to use my photos for his catalog and website?

i understand i retain the rights to the photos, even though he paid me for the shoot. but do i have rights to sell them to the wheel maker?

Yes you do but you may need a property release from the bmw owner if the car is readily recognizable or unique in some way. Sounds like he wouldn't care since he obviously passed your number to them.
