Here is a first for me, my first blog. It is the Suffusion template from wordpress. Still waiting for google to find it so I can see how I did on SEO. I only addd this because my website is a Bludomain full flash site. Now people can land on my splash page and choose either way to go.

I used the same logo and colours to keep the look the same. I also just linked back to my main website. Just looking for some comments so I can make it better.

Suffusion is a great template ain't it? I've started to use it for a Blog I'm putting together now.

Quick point the site you have up is too wide for a 1024 display, which accounts for around 50% of my site traffic.

I'd remove the login from your main page and also rename the Admin and change your administrator to another user name, it's a minor security tweak but it makes it harder to get access to your blog if they don't know the username.

Rob,

Thank you very much for the pointers. I changed the width to 1000 pixels, and also changed my admin. Again, thanks for taking the time to comment.

Shane

I would also sort out your logo/headers now, it looks cluttered and also takes away from the content. Other than that it works fine.

I'm having a tuff time with that. I need to space out the Blog title from the description so my logo fits better but cannot seem to do it. So, I dumped my logo under them.

Any idea in the code where I can add space between the title and description?

Most of the header functionality is located here:

Appearance -> Suffusion Theme Options -> Header Customization

Alternatively you can post in Sayontan Sinha's fora here: http://www.aquoid.com/forum/ (external link)

However do a search there's a lot of useful posts on there already that helped me.

Thanks for all the input. I stretched things out and ditched the logo in favour of a background image.
