I've given up on Light Impressions. Their service, web site and prices have gone down the tubes in the last year. Does anyone have recommended places for buying precut acid-free white matte boards?

"Raw" is not an acronym, abbreviation, nor a proper noun; thus, it should not be in capital letters.

I was able to find a bunch of resources from Google. I'm not sure what you were paying before and what size you needed. I have ordered prints from Mpix Pro and have had them pre-mounted and they turn out great.

Check your local craft/hobby store as well. I got some nice white matboard from the craftstore here for about $5 for a sheet that was about 3 feet x 3 feet.

Except the OP asked for pre-cut mat boards. I use framedestination.com Great service, ships quick, and packaged very well. I've looked locally, but the main store that sells mat boards have beat up edges and very curved and very unlikely they are acid-free. Framedestination offers a very good variety.

Quantity discounts, often 25 or more get into very good pricing.

I found a lot of pre-cut foam board on Google. Do you guys use the self-adhesive ones or do you use a spray on adhesive? Didn't know how the well the self-adhesive worked. Thanks.

What I did was to find the local wholesaler who sells to the local framing shops. It's a nasty little secret that in the framing world, but the majority of frame shops do not cut, glue and staple their own frames. They get "chops" from a local service (who can also put them together). That local service also sells them the matte and glass.

I have to drive about 35 minutes to get to a good one, but the prices are actually lower than art discount stores and the internet. Frames dirt cheap, too. I also get premium glass at about 1/2 the price the local hardware store sell crap window glass for. (That's another nasty little frame shop secret: many use crap window glass.)

Plus, the advantage is that you can touch and view the mattes, frames, etc.
