Took these two snapshots of the wife as first light for the new camera, indoor avaialble light- I know I can improve on many factors, can you point out a few. Thanks

my 2 cents (and that's about all it's worth) the first one has to much going on I'm not sure what to look at first. I like the second one, nice DOF!

thanks, the first shot was really the first light on the new camera and now I understand the pix is too buys.

#2 is really nice! Light is just right and came from the perfect angle for you. I'm sure that lovely lady will appreciate a copy of the shot.

Second shot is nice, first one needs better composition though.
