Ok, I was totally caught off guard by this. This weekend is the Firemans Convention here in South Glens Falls, NY. There was a parade, carnival, concerts ending in fireworks today only about 2 miles from my apartment.

As I got home from the hospital, the fireworks were already going. I only had my 50mm 1.8 on the camera and I dont have a tripod or remote release so I figured I'd fire off as many photos as I could and see what I came up with. I only got 4 I like in my first pass through them, but I'll look through them again tomorrow. Here are two of the photos. Again, poor placement, the roof of my girlfriends car as a tripod, wrong lens, and completely caught off guard. I dont think these came out too bad.

Great effort, particularly considering the conditions.......the colours look subdued, I really like them.
