It was freezing and I'm really thankful she persevered! CC and other comments welcome!

Changed the first picture!

Since you were working with two lights. I wish you would've exposed the background a little better to make it pop more. #3 needs a little more light on the other side of her face, but the rest are nicely lit.

They all seem underexposed, especially the lower half of the body.

What was your settings and power on the flash? You may have been better trying to balance the light with the ambient.

hey man i really like your bridge background shots, but they do look dark even on my overly bright laptop screen... also i think you should ditch #3 - the way her dress is falling it totally makes her look pregnant...

I'm totally digging the underexposed background and legs, gives it a very 'snoot-ish' feels, awesome shots!

Another vote for your underexposed BG in the shots. I like that style of shooting. Nothing overflashed in the shots either. This is what I would call a stylistic preference. Some like your style. Some do not. Count me in the camp that does like the style. Mostly because it gives the shots an almost film-like quality to them.

Nice job. Keep shooting like that and refine the style a bit more. Then tell me how you did it!

Thanks, I've started to like those types of shots ever since I saw one of Korrektor's senior portraits of a guy.

Btw, for the bridge background shots (still sunny), I used an ND filter and just flashed her. I really need to get a 3-stop ND filter because I used my only ND filter which is a 6-stop.
