How do you know he has a 15-85? I don't see one in his sig. Jerome

Thanks No prob, Have a couple more, I love this lens to death and look foreward very much to using it on a 7D If you're worried about speed, Heres one i shot at night, handheld at 1/2 Wont win awards for "best sharpness EVAR" in those conditions, but it can handle it, Fact is even if it was an f/2.8 lens i still woulda been at 1/4, Which without IS means I'd go home instead of getting a pic of a FedEx plane Also with a 17-55 or some similar lens it would not be as "tight" and I didnt really have the option to get closer because getting closer would have gotten the fence more in the picture ![]() Gear, New and Old! Snydremark my very own Lightrules moment More info | If you're on a budget and can accept a "slower" lens, I think it's pretty hard to beat the Tamron 18-270 f/3.5-5.6 VC. The only reason I'm finally looking to replace mine is that I want larger apertures; I just don't get the chance to shoot much in well lit conditions @270mm: And this lens goes for right around $500 these days; so the price is definitely right. - Eric S.: My Birds/Wildlife
