I don't know what happened to this little fella's tail, but he or she seems to be able to feed & fly ok - caught it on one of the feeders 2 days ago (when the sun was actually out!!).

The good news, hopefully, is that it may heal. I have pet budgies and a Meyer's parrot. Over the years several of them have looked like that for a few days, but the tails grow back and the feet heal very well. T.S.
