Can it be done using Aperture 2?

Hi,
I have a Mac with Aperture 2.
Can one do Photo mixing, HDR work in using Aperture 2?

Aperture can't do HDR merging or tonemapping out-of-the box. But there are plug-ins that do. The only one I have used is the Photomatix plug-in (external link), but I believe there are a few others available too.

Keep in mind that the Photomatix plug-in isn't updated as often as the main stand-alone app, "Photomatix Pro." The last time I checked, the plug-in was lacking a couple features of the full program (like the "light mode" button). They eventually will update the plug-in to feature-parity. I haven't checked in a few week so this might be a moot point.
