Lovely shots, great light. I'd love to know where these guys are too as you aren't far from me. Knole?

Hi thanks for all the comments, yes these were taken at knole park, I quite often take the wife to work in Sevenoaks on a Saturday and then take the dog for a walk around there, great place to walk and take pictures.

Great photos, my favourites are the first and last.

How close did you manage to get to them? I have only been to Knole once but I didn't manage to get very close to them. The ones at Richmond are much easier but then there are more people about.

You can get quite close if you get away from the house and go off into the woods, the rut this year, if you got there at 7ish was fantastic, bucks all over the place fighting and shouting for the ladies, as for Richmond yes I love the red deer but not the 20+ photographers behind every bush, some mornings at knole its just me and me alone, it does help to have the 150-500 on a cropped body though..... cheers

I have gone during the week so it has not been too bad with photographers but then nothing beats having the place to yourself.

There is a South East threadwhich is quite active if you care to join us. We do chat about everything and anything but do find time to talk photography and have a quite a few meets throughout the year.

Mark
This is the link for the SE thread https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=777484 if you then go to the last page and say hi. The WHF thread you posted on is one I started just for that meet to try and keep it contained. You will see what I mean when you go to the above one as it can move quite quickly
