Just got back from a trip to the Everglades, well actually a soccer tournament with my daughter but managed to sneak away for a couple early morning photo shoots with the local wildlife. I am quite jealous now of all you Florida wildlife photographers. Lots of very big birds, short distances and wide open spaces. My 300 f/2.8 felt like an ideal birding lens!

Comments and Critiques welcome!

You could say it has become my "walk around" lens! Have to remember to keep doing those back stretches though :)

Bought it for soccer, but amazing how many other uses it has for me now, if only I had a larger house I am sure it would become my portrait lens as well!
