Good catch, Norman. The Red-tailed Hawk is not an easy bird to get close to. Were these a heavy crop? My pick would be the first image here as I find the left eye in the second image has a strange appearance to it that is a little bothersome.

Thanks Harvey, I was about 50' away from the light pole when these were taken, remember the first two I posted? Crop was fairly heavy considering what the original looked like... You Sir, have a very good eye... I had to give some light to the left eye a bit..
