Shot on a 40d with a sigma 70-200 2.8 at 200mm at 1/800 ISO100 F2.8 on a tripod with a 2 second trigger on mirror lock up with 0 cropping.

The first shot is as shot, the second one has a little pp just to sharpen it up.

Looks alright , just needs the black points adjusted . You have to remember any time the moon is in an eclipse you will have a hard time getting a perfect picture including focus cause the moon is partially shadowed . Just darken the blacks some here and it will look ok .

Went back and set up the SV AT1010 on a tripod and attached the XSi to it per adapter and T-Ring and shot a few . The AT1010 is 480mm f/6 fixed . On a crop it's like having 768mm lens . Only not to happy with these , i've taken better with the same scope . Used Live View for focus @ 10x . I think the humidity being a little high even tho it was clear and cold was a factor . Anyway heres one at50% crop and the other at 100% crop then resized to post here .

One of my first efforts. Cropped JPEG (cause i haven't started shooting in RAW yet) with no other PP. Any hints or tips would be nice as i'm new to the game! :)
