It is 9:25pm now here in Indiana....

It was cloudy here Friday and Saturday, also this morning and afternoon it was still cloudy.

About 3 hours ago it started clearing off and I was hopeful!!

Sadly now that the moon is out, it is cloudy again :(

I can't see the moon at all for all clouds :( :(

Very best,

I'm socked in now, but for the first hour I had some clearing moments. Trying to upload shots now, but I also shot some video and those take FOREVER to upload. First peak looks pretty good though.

I shot this last night with a Canon 200mm 1.8 with an old version 1, 2x extender.
What an amazing old, (but classic) lens.
I've been helping a widow sell off her late Husbands photography gear, and this Lens is one of the items, so I got to play with it.

I have to say - I don't know what all the fuss was about, it didn't look any larger to me than I have seen before, in fact for a super moon it looked smaller, I know it had a reddish colour - but quite disappointing :-(

Finally got it right I think - Nikon D7500, Nikon 300 F4 PF, Nikon 1.4 X mk3 TC

Not an ounce of red on our moon. Just bright white and slowly got dark. :p
