A bit blurry, but I love the flare of the moon because it was so bright.

BioSci Senior Member More info | OK, here's tonight's moon. Today I received my 2x teleconverter for my lens, so this image was shot using a focal length of 800mm. The image details are as follows: 800mm lens (400 + 2x), 1/100 sec, f/16, ISO 200. Processed in CS5 to enhance contrast and sharpen. Click on image to see full-size image (1,934 x 2,900 pixels). I used live view AF to focus. Please feel free to comment. EOS R | EOS 7D

A CAMERA and some LENSES.

I can't seem to get decent moonshots with my 5D+ 70-200 with 1.4x TC sadly. I tried AF, MF without much luck. I used to get better results with my all in one zoom on my rebel ![]() Thanks, do you want me to post the other dozen shots not in focus ? 7D & 5DmkIII, 10-17 Tokina, 17-40 f/4, 17-55 f/2.8, 24-105 f/4, 70-200 f/2.8, 300 f/2.8, EX1.4 II, EX 2.0 II
