This was taken on April 24, 2016, at 3:06 AM, about three days after apogee, and two days after full.

Taken with a Nikon D5200, Tamron 150-600mm lens at 600mm + 1.4x Kenko TC, at 1/60 second, f:22, and ISO 200. It originally showed the full moon, but since the rest of it had so little detail, I cropped it to about 66% of full size to eliminate the washed out portion.

Real estate agents' mantra is, "Location, location, location!" That applies to this photo, too. I've seen the rising moon thousands of times, but never quite like this. That is a fantastic image with the reflections in the water, that bridge and those beautiful colors. Thanks for sharing.

This shot was one of the few shots I planned in advance, I often just shoot 'off the cuff', around about a week in advance actually

App in phone to map out a good direction of full moonrise in relation to the bridge and surrounding area
