Thanks! I was thrilled we were able to pull it off...we were getting low on gas, and only had one run to do it in. The spacing between the birds ended up being about perfect. I was on quite a high after getting the capture. i never attempted one like this before.

(On a sidenote, this is an Apache, which looks quite similar to the Blackhawk if you aren't dealing with helos on a daily basis!)

I realized that right after I posted. DOH!
Thanks for the back story.


The Captain and crew finally got their stuff together, now if we can only remember where we left it. :cool:

Just another moon shot. It's too bright to bother trying to take photos of anything else, and the sky was clear.

I finally got around to mounting my camera on my telescope to get a moon shot, while there was a lot of atmospheric distortion I still like how it came out:

A weird atmospheric phenomenon: a thin haze covering the whole sky, creating colorful halos around bright celestial objects like Moon:
