This was from a few days ago. It's my best moon shot to date.

Taken with 60D - 400L 5.6 w/ 1.4x Canon II. I believe the settings were 1/200, f10, ISO 100.

Thanks, the EVF in the Fuji makes it a little easier. I was bugging that I didn't have a longer lens with me though & a lower angle to go with it. 30 mins earlier the sky was a much brighter blue too, was on a train so had to wait till I could get off. Perhaps next month the the sky is the same...

In the 2nd set of pics, I am 'assuming' the focal length would have been 600 on both shots?

Nice job on Saturn!

Nice job on Saturn!

Thanks for the comment... And I should have labeled the bottom shots with details. I was using the 1.4x TC for all of the pictures, so for the bottom set, it was equivalent to 840mm. The Moon was reduced, but Saturn was cropped to 100% in the bottom set. Saturn is soooo tiny in the top picture... it's too far away and just looks like a star. According to Stellarium, it's about 926 million miles from here right now, over twice as far away as Jupiter.
