I am getting to know my new cam/lens so I shot this very quick hand held attempt, its not been cropped and just shot with wrong settings.

Popped out to the car last night and noticed Jupiter was keeping the moon company so grabbed my camera for a quick handheld shot...

Out of many craters regions of the moon, this is by far my favorite one, what do you think?

I tried hard to make it into color, but because i am still learning so i apologize if the colors are not correct or you don't like, one day i hope to make it nicer color [I won't say truer].

I think this shot is very good. As far as color goes, I was once told that converting shots of the Moon work well when converted to Black and White. You might try that on a copy and see how you like it?

The Captain and crew finally got their stuff together, now if we can only remember where we left it.

Actually i never thought about that, it is really strange or funny how to get colors out of a black and white image, and i am not that skilled in processing, i followed one tutorial from Youtube but surprisingly i couldn't get any close colors as i saw, i tried to follow all the step precisely as possible, then i though i will never get colors as others did, so i just do whatever and accept whatever, i will work hard and more in my processing skill and hope one day i can get what i look for in results.

Pretty sure it was still there last night... check on an app like Stellarium... it may be in a different position in your neck of the woods...
