Here's one you won't see every day...full moon, hours before eclipse, with the space station on a perfect midline transit (19 transit frames combined into 1). Used a hybrid setup, Sony A7R3 and Canon 100-400 II at 10fps.

Doubt I ever get a shot like this again.

Crescent Moon. I pulled out all of my optical stops to get this, Nikon D7100 (DX), 600mm f/4 ED-IF AIS Nikkor and Nikon TC-300 (2x). Very little cropping was required.

This is my first attempt at this type of shot. . .I just got the lens back from the Canon spa and thought this would be a great way to check the focus.

Tonight... from my driveway (no time to pack up and go out) 54.3 Waxing Gibbous at only 18 degrees elevation.

400/4.5 camera lens @ 1200mm + ZWO ASI183MM camera on iOptron AZ Mount Pro. Best 1000 frames of 1600. Firecapture, AS!3, IMPPG, Astra Image and LR6. Reduced to 2048px (about 40% of original)

Man I can hardly wait for a high moon to shoot. hehe

First time trying a Kenko 2x TC on my scope. It's did pretty well I think. Best 200/350 images stack in Registax. Total focal length is 1800mm.

I just got my first chance to try my 90D on the moon. I think it did "pretty" good but the focus is not as good as I would like.

I did the focusing in Live View using the Focus Peaking.

It IS better than I could have done on my 60D and MUCH faster getting the focus!

I am considering getting the Sigma 150-600C - I think that would do a better job? Is it worth $900 for that?

Woops I forgot to add the photos!!
