Hi

Interested to know if this was take on a tripod or handheld.

I have been taking some test shoots of the Moon with the R6 and the 800mm lens and have found that:-

1 Using a tripod and IS off the images are soft and not as sharp as I expected.

2 Again using tripod and having IS on the images were better.

Both tests were done with exactly with the same setting.

Many Thanks

Playing around with Index Colour mode in Photoshop to produce a pseudo geological map type of image.

Shot with the telescope (102mm Maksutov) and the D7000.
25% of 250 still frames, aligned and stacked.
Little bit of deconvolution and sharpening.

That's a cracker for a single shot. Nicely done.
