A partial lunar eclipse from last tueasday (the 3rd) and not, as I thought, E.T. Hand held at 1AM with a 400 f2.8, and extender after several drinks with friends. Not a bad effort, especially for iso 12,800, but maybe i should do a bit of research next time and not have that last beer...

Had another go attaching my Canon 5DIV to my Celestron Inspire 100AZ.

Exposed manually with a 10-second shutter delay and the mirror locked up.

All a learning curve! Considering the high ISO, I'm quite pleased with the shot. I need to practice more - I thought the ISO was 1,600 - it was 16,000!

One of my first attempts at the moon. Very little editing in light room. Used a canon 90d with the 150-600 sigma.
