Beaver Moon
(unfortunately camera sensor had difficulty picking up an exposure on the faded red globe of the eclipse, and loss of feeling in fingers due to low temperatures made camera setting adjustments a challenge)
You take what you can get!

I know what you mean about cold fingers!! My sky was and still is clouded over. If I did have clear skies my fingers would also have gotten very cold last night as it was 30+ degrees last night. The last time such a blood moon happened of this duration was apparently in 1212 CE - before there was any human population here. It happened in the late evening: from about 9:30-12:00am and the sky was clear, but alas with a very thin veil of cloud that also reflected the light pollution of the city and thus reduced the image quality. Still, I gave it a go. I think the white dot to the lower right of the moon is likely to be Venus, but I will take advice on that!
