understood and well done, when the clouds are "just right", I have captured in single exposure images like this, trial and error show 1/3 to 1/2 sec shutter seems to work
The clouds act as a filter showing moon detail w/o blown out image

Solar eclipse, woke up early today and shot the partial eclipse visible from Manila, this is an annular eclipse passing just north of Las Vegas about now. Shot with canon 5D2 and 100-400 mm zoom with thousand oaks glass solar filter
here is a photo at 6 am Manila Time, when the clouds still covered the sun, this is about maximum
