I would like to find a good image viewer that shows the EXIF data at the same time. It must work with Mac. Any suggestions?

Preview. Open an image and press Command I to Get Info. Pops up in a window.

If you are using Firefox, there's an add-on that works with Firefox:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3905 (external link)

Otherwise, there's EXIF Viewer.app which you can use for viewing the EXIF of image files:

The newest Picasa from google shows basic info next to the image.

Also Canon's utilities that came with your camera will shot EXIF. (Digital Photo Pro. and Zoombrowser)
