Most of the time you'll find a sort of "ruler" or other device that lets your straighten your horizons or verticals. My name is Henk. and I believe "It is all in the eye of the beholder....."

More info | Jan 01, 2010 02:24 | #5 Most editing software has a built in leveling tool. For instance, in Photoshop Elements, there is an icon on the tool bar that looks like a level monitor on top of one that is tilted about 20 degrees. To use it, you simply select the tool, find an object in the image that should be level....move the cursor to one side of that item and left click...it will place a marker at that point....move to the opposite side of the item you wish to level and click again on a point that should be level with the first...the program will then rotate your image to level....all you have to do is crop away the portion that is no longer on screen. Downside to leveling is that you'll lose a good bit of the top and bottom of an image that is as crooked as this one. My YouTube Vlog: https://www.youtube.com/c/GarageFlips
