Thanks guys, I love that you can use the 135 @ f/2 and have it yield reliably sharp, contrasty images. Never ever going to get rid of this lens!

I'm loving the look of the first one, it's so rare to see such good image quality in trails photos and to manage to have a background that doesn't distract from the rider while adding to the photo is the icing on the cake.

Man those look great. Beautiful color, clarity, contrast, sharpness...every positive thing you look for in a photo.

Thanks dudes. And yeah, it's summer, but it hasn't stopped raining for a week!

How do you find the focusing speed on the 135?

Andrew, I just came in from shovelling (snow, not doubles) so I hope you understand my strong dislike of you at this moment! Love the images and agreee with the comments above. I'll add that its nice to see trails photos that are shot ambient and yet well lit. Rreally like the sun on the front end of the ride in #1.

That 135 is a great FL for trails since you can still get good DOF without being on top of the riders so you get a great sense of the hard work put into building them.

Thanks for posting these. Hey if you know anyone interested in a USB Molly, lemee know, mine needs a new home.
