Canon service on older bodies?

Well, instead of keeping everyone in the dark, maybe you could re-post your question and the answer you found. It might be of some use to someone else in the future.

Yeah. I've been collecting links to non-Canon shops that can work on Canon bodies, fixing anything from buttons to new shutters. Surprisingly, there are some. I don't know if I would trust them or not. Not a lot of feedback on any I found.

I haven't had a need for their services, but doesn't KEH.com service the older models as well as the newer ones? Anybody have any experience with KEH?
