It is sort of a trick shot that looks hard but isn't. You pick a point between the pitcher and catcher, then MF focus on that point. You use the camera's motordrive to motor the shots and catch the ball in focus. Just takes a little trial and error to see how the pitcher moves compared to you focus spot. 5dMKIII/grip - 24-105 4.0 IS
