This shot confuses me?

Looks like it was taken at Whistler Crankworx. This guy is doing an x-up (front wheel is facing backwards) 360 and he is half way around. A lot of mountain bike photos confuse a lot of people - unless you understand the sport the photos don't always make a lot of sense.

I think what he was confused by is why there is a biker doing a jump in the back, ichiro in the front, and a landscape that looks like it has the castle of Neuschwanstein in it (not really, but kind of) lol

This was the January photo in the Sports Car Club of America's 2010 Calendar. Always cool to catch the big GT-1 cars belching flame out the pipes as they haul it down into a corner.
Taken at the 2009 SCCA Runoffs at Road America.

Wow, awesome shot. The b&w really works here and the expression on the kids face is great.

Just a newb...but two of my own faves from 2009...simple point and shoots...still learning the technical details of taking the photos I would like to take, or moreover, the photos I see in my head as I'm taking them...

ahh... I was confused but now it makes sense. On my 24 inch wide screen Ichiro is beside... NOT under the mountain biker. I just looked at it on a smaller screen and saw why it looked confusing.

Ahh yes they're two separate images! The white line separating them looks as though it could be part of the green retaining wall in the stadium, like a trim or something.

Here's mine. Montana State Class C Quarterfinals, receiver with an incredible one-handed grab to give the Sheridan Panthers a much needed first down, late in the second quarter. This catch set up a 9 yard TD run on the next play.

A bunch of equipment with Canon on it and some stuff with Sigma on it. The desire to capture a moment in time and share it with you! :)
