Latest DPP

Is the latest DPP a free download from canons website? I sold my 50D and cant find the disc. A link would be cool too. Thanks

Doesn't work in Win 7. That method of adding to the registry gives errors!

The method of installing first DPP 1.0 http://web.canon.jp/Im​aging/sdl/data/dpp100-e.exe
and then updating it is safer, but I don't know if it will install on Win 7, although I would expect it would because you could then run it in XP mode.

I finally rummaged around and found one of the disk sets that I had never used and did this: Insert the disk, cancel the install, then run the 7D DPP update, which has a Vista 64 designation and which checks for the disk when doing the install, and all worked properly. It did take some searching to find those dang disks though, even though I have at least three sets lying around somewhere.
