180 yep another water drop, I definatly learned why you don't use a clear glass dish for drops growl at the fingerprints caught through the water, yep I am rambling :)

I love water shots. I have made 3 attempts at shooting drops and what not and failed each time. Just something about it I seem to be missing.

I love water shots as well, I learned a lot but still have a tremendous way to go. a lot of people buy cheap chemestry equipment to drop their drops but all i had was a kids medicine dropper. Definatly not as exact. Also learnedd that if you are going to use a clear dish wipe the fingerprints off the bottom and make sure that there are no silverware scratch lines (I used my oldest baking dish ...oops). Also having a real macro lens would be very helpfl I shot these with the 18-135 kit lens I am sure Jeremi's 100mm macro would have been far clearer and cleaner looking. I followedthis strobist (external link)article on doing it with a single speed flash and it was very very helpful :) All for all I learned a ot and that is why I am doing the project so in my mind its a sucsess :)

Eddy great pic I have always loved that painting, we used to ahve a game called masterpieces and that is one of the pictures they used in the game and I always wanted to be the one to buy it :)

Welcome aboard Cameron! Great start to a 365!

Thanks for the welcome - glad you like the bus!

There's some excellent images in here. I've not been able to look through them all yet, but I love the spoon one further up the page!

I hope my imagination will last 365 days. I can see issues arising in the next day or so!

Thanks very much mate. Yeah, it flies in doesn't it? I'm halfway through my second year now and, although I'm running a bit low on inspiration recently, I'm still amazed that I manage to come up with stuff every day.

Thanks very much, I'm getting really into these close ups using weird patterns as a background.

Believe me, there will be days when you just want to do anything but pick up a camera and you'll think you have no idea what to shoot. I still get days like that. It's so worthwhile to keep at it though. I have this idea in my head that I'll be able to look back one day at twenty or thirty years worth of photos and I would kick myself now if I missed a day. It's actually become probably my greatest fear and a bit of an obsession.
