and thank you guys for the photo compliment My sister was kind enough to be patient enough with me to allow me to practice my lighting, I got a couple of keepers so that was great. Im gonna be mia probably for a couple of days bc I am having sinus surgery a 7:30 well I guess technically today. Hopefully ill be able to grab a shot in the morning before going in

I'd say it was great for photographs too given your last two pictures! That pool is beautiful! That cactus-flower thing is really nice too. I like the ghostly aura, it sets it off imo.

Thank you, the pool is at our local thermal spa, wasn't happy with the picture though it seems like a compromise. The sky was stunningly textured with the clouds and the sun, I wish in hindsite I had taken my tripod and had a crack at HDR, something I have not played around with but the dynamic range was so great that something was always going to be missed in a single exposure. I was shooting at f22 (I think) to try and get a nice sun flare which I think made it a little more difficult to!

I like the flower, it is a thistle that is just starting to bloom, the back garden is a state at the moinute but the weeds provide plenty of inspiration for pictures
