Can I ask the settings you used to get this? Also, if the water is boiling, how did you stop steam messing the shot up?

Of course, I have a few comments on this picture and all of them have missed how the pictiure was taken... It is a tomato dropped from above into a bowl of water, it took a while to get it to work but had failed miserably at a coffee milk splash the week before I thought I would try something larger and from a different angle. I have my 450d a couple of lens and a tripod so thought why not, I used on board flash so it took a while to get the timing right as I could not use burst mode but I kinda liked it

I thought that water was boiling, but it is just the ripples caused from dropping the tomato in.
