Really? You think so? So I guess your feeling is that: Once I have to start murdering people to get my 365 done, I've gone too far?

My day 20 - I'll be practicing at this to try and get better but I'm happy with this first attempt.

Honestly I took 15 minutes to set this up last night cause it was a last minute idea. I've been searching this site for "water drops" all day looking for the best setups and settings. There are alot of links here.

I'm glad I found this thread. I didn't know anybody else was doing this.

Just started mine 2 weeks ago and I've already missed 2 days! Woops.

In addition to being busy, I think I made up too many rules. I wanted to have each day of the week dedicated to a different type of shooting/lens.

I originally thought something like:
Mondays - 'normal'
Tuesday - 'telephoto'
Wednesday - 'wide'
Thursday - 'macro'
Friday - 'flash'
Weekend - whatever inspired me

I think I should start over with rules a little more lax. I think ultimately I'd like to use a variety of lenses, but I think I"ll just keep that in the back of my head and just shoot pictures of interest.

Thanks Ek... I actually enjoy the creative side of things more than anything else, it's really fun trying to come up with goofy ideas. I get inspiration from all over the web, and other photographers. I'm already trying to think up a way to copy Webgod's shot! LOL

And any look at my whole 365 gallery will show you that, frankly, I just can't do it every day.

I mean, I take the shots every day, but some are really lacking.

Hahahaaa, no problem, we all get inspiration from somewhere...

Trust me, after completing year 1, I now realize that not everyday is going to be an amazing day so I don't stress over it now like I once did. It's meant to be a learning experience and fun so just roll with it.

Great shot! So uncanny too - As I was walking home struggling for ideas tonight, I thought about doing a water drop attempt as well. Beat me to the punch! I'll still give it a try although I've never done it before.
