Congrats on the completition! How would you described your experience? Have you reached your goals? Did you learned/improved a lot? Will you start another one again?

Hey David,

Thanks! I definitely found it challenging during the week as I work a full time 9-5 job. Some days after work, I just didnt feel like picking up the camera and sometimes came out with some bad shots. It was easy on the weekends because thats when I do most my paid shoots.

I definitely feel like I reached the goals I had in mind which was to learn about different types of photography and push myself to get creative. I learned a lot about composition, lighting techniques and have also burned a pretty big hole in my wallet in the process lol.

I don't know if I'd do another but if I do, it will probably start on Jan1st or maybe when I have kids in a few years. Overall, it was a big challenge but I definitely recommend it to anyone looking to learn and help to get the creative juices flowing!

Congrats on finishing!!! Isn't it a great feeling? I finished mine back in February and I felt...amazing. haha. Good job for sticking with it.

haha, thanks. What a feeling, huh? Though it took me about.....3 weeks to finally get used to NOT taking a photo.
But alas I'm going to do it again. I can't wait to start again. Haha.

Congrats Jerel!! I've always liked your stuff.. if your g/f is anything like my wife, she was probably ecstatic it was over with..

Alex- yeah, I already had a "hmm what should i shoot today" moment today! lol

Brandon- thx man, I've seen your work as well and its been improving for sure, great job. My girlfriend is a very patient person but im sure she won't mind my daily, "what the heck do i shoot today!?!" question.

Here's mine from today.. think I got a little too low down to get as much yellow from the fields as I would have liked, but I'm still fairly okay with it. And amazed at how well the old Sigma 18-200mm lens is performing for me!

Packing. It's gonna be a late night! You won't be hearing from me for a while, we're starting our journey to China tomorrow. Flying into London Gatwick and then on to Beijing on Saturday. I'm not taking the Macbook so I'll not be uploading. I'll still be taking (at least!) one photo a day though and I'll have a mamouth update session when I get back.
