365 Project

Just a snapshot...I know that, but since this is a personal project I'm looking to grow personally as a photographer and also capture things relevant to me. I worked today in one of the communities hit hardest by the tornadoes last week. Seeing people, some of whom lost things themselves, come together to help each other...it's just beautiful.

A snapshot is freezing a moment in time for eternity. what that moment represents may be as simple as a child enjoying an ice cream cone on a summer day, or a family sitting around a christmas tree, the last christmas that family may spend together. your shot is an amazing representation of a community coming together to rebuild what they will never forget, and photo's like yours will document that return. great shot, andy.

It seems as though I have been stalking our friendly wasps nest quite a lot this week, learning from the mistakes of the previous day but shooting whilst trying to hold onto a ladder is a little shakey!

Day 82 - Justice has Prevailed!

Some great stuff in the last week or so since I was here. Been taking every day, but with work trips and buying a house, not managed to keep up to date with uploading, so here are just a couple. Got some macro adaptor rings, so had a play with those. Finding it hard to get focus where I want it with such a shallow d.o.f.

Less than two months to go now too!
