So, that's the end of this thread? Does it also mark the end of thread like ''One strobe only'', ''Multiple strobes'', ''XXD users unite'', ''Show us your camera thread'' where we all know that users post a lot more than 8 pictures per thread?

Jon, I do appreciate your work here on POTN, but is it absolutely necessary to enforce the rules by the book here? I don't think we are abusing or using this thread as a gallery at all. We're showing what we came up with during the day, hoping to inspire someone else. I find this thread a huge inspiration for my 365 project, I really hope we are still allowed to post pictures here, not only links.

I think we are making a bigger deal out of this than we should. If we've been away for a couple weeks and wish to catch everyone up on our days, then I think posting a few up and placing the link for the rest is fine with me. I know I'd click to look at the photos everyone in here came up with. It seems to me that the 8 posts per thread relates to an individuals personal thread, not a mass individual thread such as this or the "5D" "50L" etc. If that were the case, then all those threads would be closed.

Didn't feel like putting a lot of effort in it tonight...too tired and way too sunburned. I guess it fits that I took a picture of the thing responsible for my misery...:)

Bread & Butter - 3/365

IMAGE: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3664/5695288746_4bbe78f15e_b.jpg

Got tired of just shooting things around my home, so I got out there (so to speak). There is this path I always see whilst heading to work, where some of the high school kids that are in track go for a jog. The path isn't an official pathway (if there is such a thing). It just curves around the back of the bayou. I decided to go see what's back there to try and capture an image. This was the result.

I can already see now that the sunset, flower combination is shaping up to be a little bread n butter thing that, if I'm not careful, will eventually want to fall back on. The rad news, is that there is also this curve in the road where I always wanted to take some pictures, especially on a foggy day and at night. So that shall be my attempt tomorrow, get a short of light trail look going around that corner. Should be fun.

Lol. Ain't that the truth though. One thing that stuck with me before starting this was a quote I read.

"The only reward for doing something easy, is that it's easy". paraphrased, but that's the gist.

Thanks for the comment on the photo.

^^^I've read that quote before too. Great quote and nice shot

Day 125- Only took me about 50 shots to get the right shot of my niece. This girl does not stay still unless you hand her a chocolate.
