So, I want to know your secret, your routine. Do you guys start with a subject, a theme, and then find your shot, or do you go the other way around, meaning, just shoot whatever inspires you?

I'm on my 45 day or so and I'm running out of ideas!

I've done a lot of mine as a 'diary' The shot I've used has been something I've done, somewhere I've been, something I've bought....... Children come in handy - first day back at school, loosing teeth, things they do/make, up the park, riding bikes, etc Flash is also a must too IMO - several times I've left it a bit late or done nothing in particular so OCF & stuff around the house/kids toys etc fill a day Try to do a self portrait once a week or something like that... I'm a firm believer that there is ALWAYS something to shoot.

That’s exactly what I am planning on doing.

Last year, I tried doing a 52-week project with a theme for each week. But I found that to be too restrictive.

I find the thought of a 52 week project harder than a 365 - I'd just constantly put it off til the Sunday & produce crap

How does it feel guys to be so close to the end ?

Is next year going to be a 366 day year? Do we get a free pass for 1 day, haha

Well disappointed to say so far have missed 2 days on the project I was very hard on my self the first time I missed/forgot, and second time aint so bad. I realize that I wont be able to take a photo 100% everyday for the whole duration of the project. I think that after I am done this project I will be working on a Project 52, with a lot more effort and thought put into the works, instead of my current 365 with most of my photos being around my house Still fun to do the project as I get you use my gear when I dont have a specific reason to (event etc.) and kind of fun to see where you started and where you are at now.

Look forward to carrying on next year Be nice to hit 1000 photos!
