No tripod, just chillin on the dash lol. Not that great, but it's still a shot! I darkened it way too much in post, but too lazy to redo it. day4 - lights 5D Mark II

Jan 04, 2012 22:45 | #7812 Since I didn't feel like dragging my 60D to the grocery store tonight, I took my S95 with me for today's shot. Next time, I'll just haul the 60D to the grocery store. The S95 is a nice little camera, but the limited range, picky focusing, and high-ISO noise was somehow extra frustrating today. Even with that, I still ended up with 3 different photos to choose from, which was nice. Picked this one as today's shot and will end up re-shooting the other 2 with better angles/lighting later in my project. 4/365 - Night Garden Canon EOS 70D | Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM • EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM | Tamron SP 60mm f/2 Macro Di II | Samyang 8mm f/3.8 VDSLR Fish-eye

I don't usually compose images into a square crop, but I liked how the jet trails seemed to be criss-crossing through the frame. I think technically I screwed this shot up a bit not having a tripod, probably should have been at a much smaller aperture so the clouds wouldn't be so grainy and weird, oh well, live and learn.
