(Whew! Got it in with 6 minutes to go!)

This shot represents the months of very hard work that I, and our company, D3 Dynamic Digital Displays, put in, to see our beautiful display light up Raley Field, in West Sacramento. The 20' x 40' LED display was a shining jewel at the Rivercat's home opener tonight (which they won), and was gorgeous, bright and spectacular all night.

As a sales rep for D3, it's certainly the largest project I've ever been part of.

It's a major, major edition to the team and stadium, and we're very excited about it. News story here (check out your boy Chairman on TV!):

Here's to a great season!

The pixel information is pretty cool. I guess that knowing stuff like that helps out with camera knowledge to right. Like my 5d mkII has 21.2 megapixels. Does it transfer the same way?

Pretty much - resolution is resolution. So your 5d has a resolution of 2592 x 1944. That sign is 480 x 992. Which compared to a 5d is weak, but in the arena of LED signs is quite nice (it's *just* shy of true HD) and as you can see in the image, looks really, really nice at the ballpark, even in daylight. Their old sign was like 200 x 228, so their season ticket holders were blown away when they walked in and saw this.

Thats awesome dude.

As for the fire everyone pay attention I am about to show you one of the easiest things to do in photo shop.

When shooting someone on a black back ground. Find a picture with fire and use the lasso tool to do a selection of it. cut and paste as a new layer. Set layer time to screen Create layer mask. Set flow of your brush to like 30-40% and shape the fire as you want. and thats it. So easy and very cool effect.

Casper - They are serious cool (well hot actually) great work though!

Edd - Top work on that sign/display dude!

I don;t know how I managed with 1gb... I did though  So all is fixed now and here are my last 2 days shots.

16th April - After a long long day working I had to drive up north (only 2 hours) after work I was just knackered. I took loads of shots on the way up, but for some reason this is my favourite. Technically it is poor, nothing that interesting, I just like it

17th April - On the bike again training for race tomorrow at local woods. Noticed there were DH guys there so got a few snaps.

Day 57 --- Worst shot yet! lol It was getting late last night while at work and I knew I wasn't gong to make it home on time for my daily shot. I grabbed a quick photo with my cell phone from our garage over looking 5/3 Field and ran it through some noise removal.
