If you shot in RAW you might be able to salvage that by selectively lowering the exposure in these sections. My name is Henk. and I believe "It is all in the eye of the beholder....."

thanks, I will check the other shots with darker exposures. I noticed the lean too and failed to adjust; will do it now...I am trying to learn as much before office work interferes with this hobby Cheers,

That certainly will help you a lot. Not only in the PP phase but also while shooting: with the histogram on the LCD of the camera you can see immediately if there are blown highlights or blacks that should not be there.
