Please help a newbie nana...

Hi Everyone, I am new to all this however I have owned a camera for 4 years..(350d out dated I know).I really like taking photos of my family playing sport and have some really good action shots. I also have recently become a nana for the first time and I already have thousands of photo's of Ava (my granddaughter) I would really like to do more than take snap shots and are looking to update my camera. I have learnt a heap from reading these forums and would appreciate any help that is given. I am torn between the 7d and the 5dmark2. Can someone please advise me on the best thing to do..

if your main draw is family playing sports and action shots, then i would suggest a 7D simply for its higher frames per second rate. Plus you save about £300 on the body, which means you can put a bit more on the lens.

If the only long lens you have right now is the 90-300mm, you should invest in a 70-200 f/2.8 IS first.

The 7D also has a better AF system than the 5D, so will be better suited to sport type subjects where there is a lot of movement.
