That milky way shot is stunning! I wish there was a place close to me that had a view like that!

Here's one I shot of a sunset yesterday

I am very new to landscapes (as well as photography in general) but I have just returned from a wonderful 5 week vacation in California and wanted to share some of my favourite shots from Yosemite. C&C from all of the experts out there who have shared some amazing landscapes in this post would be greatly appreciated.

This is taken at Laupren, and it's the city Molde you could see in the background. The man is standing on 1434 meter.

Very nice shot Isn't that a great location? You are in the same spot I was in May when I photographed the lake while it was still frozen.

Thank you. Yeah I loved that whole trip. We were up in GTNP and Yellowstone for a week and it was too short.
I so envy the people that live within driving distance to places like this and can shoot pictures whenever they want.

Can you post the frozen lake images? My family and I talked about and tried to picture the place all white covered in snow and frozen. It must be amazing!!
