Thanks Jeff. I'm going to have to take the time to figure out how to create a url and upload from it to get better quality. So many of my pics are as sharp as tacks at full res. but by the time I make them fit the 1024 box or 150 kb they're look a bit sad!

Yeah, that would be a good plan as most images look pretty squished by the time you've stomped it down to a 150kb file size if they have any detail in them.

Photobucket has a free hosting service where you can upload less compressed versions that show off the color and detail of the shots a fair bit better.

Did I mention its free? ;)

I was gonna say flickr has a decent free option as well, and does a better job of resizing for the most part. Photobucket isn't bad at all, though.

Love it so far :) I will get to practice a lot more in a few weeks when it gets warmer and we'll be outside more.

QUOTED IMAGE

Wow!

Beautiful view and nicely framed and exposed! ;)

The only thing that might have been cool is if you somehow could have gotten a bit more sky and the mountain tops into the frame.

Cheers!

Thanks Jeff. I know - hindsight... This is full frame but at 45mm on a 24-105. I wasn't real happy with the sky at the time, but during post I realized that the menacing grey was really providing interesting contrast for all the earth tones in the rocks. Same occurred at the mineral springs. Next time I go back I will rent a 16-35 :)
