A number of lenses have disappeared from Canon's website. At first glance: 17-40/4, 70-200/2.8 and original 100/2.8 macro are gone. Hmmmmmm.

EDIT: All the super telephotos, with the exception of the 800, are gone as well. This now looks like some sort of website maintenance and not new lens introductions...too many missing to be.

I've heard rumors about the 17-40 and of course the 70-200 and those were the first two I noticed so I thought something may be up. Now that I see MANY more are gone I don't think anything is afoot unless the engineers have been working major overtime. :)

THose rumors have been around since I first joined POTN. :) I'm sure they were around before then as well.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

But the 24-70 f/2.8 is missing as well. Hmm.. maybe all those others are just a fluke but the 24/70 is finally gonna git some IS. :)
