I shot this on new year's eve and kind of liked how it came out. Not the most perfect hands ... but that's part of the point, I suppose.

ISO 200, f/5.6, 1/200, 55mm on the Tammy in my sig. DoF seems a little shallow now that I'm looking at it (it'd be nice if the ring on the right was in focus).

Maybe a little more lighting to fill in the shadows.

I love Adobe Camera Raw. I've been importing my images from my camera using Aperture. From there, I can make little adjustments, sharpen, etc., in a manner that's usually pretty pleasing. I really need to remember, though, that it's just not nearly as good at fine-tuning stuff. At least, it's not nearly as intuitive or powerful to me as ACR.

Anyway, here's another shot at the image with PP done in ACR. Did I go too far in the other direction? I kind of feel like it lost something along the way....
