I'm looking for a camera shop that does daily or weekend lens rental. I've searched with no luck. Does anyone know of one?
Thanks,
Jay

Nice find, but it doesn't have anything about Las Vegas lens rentals. I think it's because there aren't any. I've been looking, too, but to no avail.

I do have a friend here that loans out his personal equipment for a fee from time to time, but that's about it. Maybe I should open a lens rental business here...

Planning on going to the Consumer Electronics Store in vegas next week?
I think lensrentals.com rents with overnight delivery (for an extra fee) if you need some equipment fast...

Thanks for the info. I have a couple of great places here in the metro Phoenix area. I was looking for somewhere in Vegas to rent for a day or two instead of having to pay to have the lens rented for the whole time that I'm gone.

Have you considered asking the local places in Phoenix how much it would cost for them to fedex or UPS the lens you want to a pickup spot in Las Vegas, then when you're finished with it, you can ship it back, instead of having to rent the lens for the entire time you're there.

Also as Dmab eluded to a few replies ago, you might want to think about LensRentals.com they ship to P.O. boxes (or you can inquire about shipping to your hotel, or a pick up spot in Vegas etc. It might be cheaper than renting the lens for the entire time you're gone.

Photographers do it in 1/1,000th of a second...but the memory lasts forever! ;)

I find that renting through an online service is cheaper than renting locally.
At least here in WI to rent a lens for a day equals the cost of renting from lensrentals.com for a week!
