Found this little cutie while driving out to the bird refuge.

Beautiful shots of the owl! I never seem to find things like this on my drive around! Love the detail!

@ Scott, Mike. Mind you I saw him while driving. Only about 30mph, but still fast enough to miss most hidden birds. I stopped the truck and backed up past him and all the while my wife is asking what I saw and where is it.

Glad everybody likes these. We are thrilled to have shot them.

Ray, I shoot with a 40D/100-400 and my wife uses a 20D/100-400. Yep, we each have our own lens.
